Research Areas in Materials Science,
Aichi University of Education
Department of Materials Science, Aichi University of Education provides a focus
for education and research in two main themes
"Physics and Engineering" and
"Molecular Science".
Physics and Engineering Division
The physics and engineering division is particularly
well equipped for metal physics, electronic material, nonlinear science
and semiconductor physics, which results in numerous publications at the
forefront of the respective fields. The common theme pervading all work undertaken
within the physics and engineering division is the understanding and application
of advanced materials.
Teaching and Research Staff
Molecular Science Division
The molecular science division is particularly
well equipped for physical chemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and inorganic
and analytical chemistry. Specific areas of research include molecular
orbital calculation of organic and inorganic compounds, synthesis of
luciferin and related compounds, and mechanistic studies of reactions of
metalloporphyrins and related compounds.
